Cargill has successfully resisted an application for leave to adduce further evidence in a patent appeal hearing. In this seminal appeal, the Singapore Court of Appeal had to consider, for the first time, the power of the High Court in hearing a patent appeal filed against a decision of the Tribunal. Wendy Low, who advised Cargill, reports from Singapore.
